Spaces designed for belonging

Whether designing for dementia care or creating inspiring commercial spaces, I bring a human-centered approach rooted in story, simplicity, and soul.

DEMENTIA-SUPPORTIVE DESIGN

I work with families and developers to create homes that support independence, safety, and dignity for people living with dementia. Every design decision is grounded in how dementia changes sensory perception and spatial navigation — ensuring spaces reduce confusion, prevent falls, and preserve autonomy without looking institutional.

OFFICE DESIGN

I design offices that feel sophisticated and soulful. My commercial work prioritizes sustainability whenever possible, human connection, and sensory comfort — with the ultimate goal to create places that reflect your brand and where people genuinely want to spend time.

MY APPROACH

I believe spaces profoundly shape how we feel, move, and connect. Whether designing for dementia care or creating an inspiring office, my approach prioritizes:

→ Deep listening before designing

→ Sensory comfort alongside visual beauty

→ Sustainability and thoughtful material choices

→ Spaces that tell a story

Every project begins with conversation - together we will explore what the space needs to do for your family and how it can address challenges better.

For dementia design, I bring both interior design expertise and family counseling, supporting the practical decisions and emotional transitions that come with adapting a home.

For office design, I focus on creating environments that differentiate your brand, support diverse work needs, and enhance how people experience your space.

  • My design sensibility is rooted in a Nordic aesthetic — clean lines, considered materials, warmth without clutter — but it's been shaped by years of living and working across cultures. That international life means I've learned how differently people live, and what "home" actually means to different families.

I care about the intersection of beauty and function, and especially about sensory comfort: how light fills a space, how surfaces feel, how sound moves through a room. Sustainability and material integrity matter to me as much as how something looks.

Every project starts with a conversation. The best design brief, in my experience, isn't written — it emerges from listening.

  • In dementia-supportive design, Ligaya Interiors works with families at every stage of this journey - from initial floor plan reviews to comprehensive home redesigns.

For office designs, I am here for every office owner who intends to transform their space into one that reflects human-centered design, inspiring diverse work areas, and sustainability.

  • Most design work addresses the physical environment. Counseling addresses the emotional one. For families adapting a home for someone living with dementia, you need both — and they rarely come from the same person.

My background in interior design and family counseling means I can sit with that complexity alongside you. Moving furniture can be a grief process. Safety modifications can feel like a quiet loss of identity for the person at the center. Caregivers have needs too — and a well-designed space can ease the weight of daily care in ways that are hard to name but very real.

That's what makes working with me different. I'm here for the practical decisions and the harder ones.
